Notes of Interest:

Welcome Back: This weekend at Dover (Del.) International Speedway, SS GreenLight Racing and Joe Graf Jr. welcome back Z Grills as the primary partner of the team’s No. 07 Chevrolet Camaro for Saturday afternoon’s Drydene 200.

Dover marks the third of a multi-race deal where Z Grills, one of the most respected names in pellet grills will be the primary partner.

About Z Grills: As an industry leading manufacturer for more than 30 years, Z Grills manufactured grills, kitchen equipment and outdoor products for several top brands in the industry.

Five years ago, Z Grills launched its own brand. With more than 500% yearly sales growth, Z Grills has quickly become the best pellet grills in the market and received tons of great reviews among mass media sites, BBQ influencers and Z Grills customers.

Now, Z Grills has grown into one of the most respected brands in the pellet grill industry.

Z Grills 8 in 1 pellet grills can grill, smoke, bake, roast, sear, braise, barbecue or char-grill.

Saving You Some Money: As summer approaches, Joe Graf Jr.’s partner Z Grills wants to help the NASCAR community save money – but also enjoy the perfect barbecue.

On the heels of their second race partnership of the season last month at Talladega Superspeedway, Z Grills Racing (ZGrillsRacing.com) is offering a 10 percent discount off your TOTAL purchase, using the code JoeGraf07 at checkout.

Z Grills Racing Tip of the Week: In this weekend’s Z Grills Racing tip of the week: Season your new pellet grill according to the manufacturer’s directions (a process that usually takes 45 minutes to one hour). This burns off any residual oils from the manufacturing process.

Looking Ahead: Joe Graf Jr. and SS GreenLight Racing announced this week that G-Coin, digital tokens backed by responsibly sourced, physical gold will serve as the primary partner for the team for multiple races in 2021 starting next weekend at Circuit of the Americas (COTA).

G-Coin brings gold into the digital age, making it accessible and giving it true utility.

Unlike cryptocurrencies, G-Coin is a digital title to a real asset.  It combines the best qualities of traditional gold – stability, security, value, confidence, and social status – with the benefits of digital innovation, allowing users to easily save, send, and spend gold.

You can watch the official wrapping of the No. 07 G-Coin car here.

Joe Graf Jr. Xfinity Series Dover International Speedway Starts: Joe Graf Jr. will make his third career start at the “Monster Mile” in Saturday afternoon’s race.

Last year, Graf Jr. scored a solid 18th place finish in the first of a double-header on the one-mile concrete oval. The next afternoon, he finished 21st after starting 21st.

He has completed 396 of the 400 laps, 99 percent overall.

Joe Graf Jr. Xfinity Series Career Intermediate Nuggets: At tracks 1.0-mile or greater in size, Graf has competed in 23 NASCAR Xfinity Series races. He holds an average starting position of 23.8 and an average result of 23.2.

Darlington (S.C.) Raceway | Steakhouse Elite 200 Race Recap: In the series’ most recent race at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway, Graf and his team threw themselves back into the year 1985 with their “Back to the Future” NASCAR Xfinity Series throwback scheme during “Throwback Weekend” at the track dubbed “Too Tough To Tame.”

In his No. 08 Chevrolet Camaro Delorian, Graft contended for a top-20 finish but trouble late in the race relegated the SS GreenLight Racing team with a disappointing 37th place finish.

Put Me In Coach: In an effort to strengthen his physique, Joe Graf Jr. began working with new trainer and former NASCAR Cup Series Josh Wise during the offseason.

In addition to Wise, Graf has also been working with former NASCAR driver and open wheel driver Scott Speed on being more discipline behind the wheel of his No. 07 Z Grills Chevrolet Camaro.

From the Pit Box: Industry veteran Mike Tyska is Joe Graf Jr.’s crew chief.

He will crew chief his 10th NASCAR Xfinity Series race as crew chief on Saturday afternoon.

Tyska joined SS GreenLight Racing in January after honing his skills in all three of NASCAR’s national divisions and working for teams like Germain Racing, GMS Racing and Rick Ware Racing.

Tyska was a part of Todd Bodine’s 2006 championship season in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Germain Racing.

Hello From The Other Side: Graf Jr. has a teammate at SS GreenLight Racing. Cody Ware will drive the No. 17 Nurtec ODT Chevrolet on Saturday afternoon.

Ware, a veteran racer is poised to make his 25th career NASCAR Xfinity Series start. Despite three starts at Mile’s Monster Mile in the NASCAR Cup Series, the Drydene 200 will be Xfinity debut at the famed Delaware race track.

Joe Graf Jr. Pre-Race Quotes:

On Dover International Speedway: “I am looking forward to Dover this weekend. As a team, we were very solid there last summer and I look forward to getting our season back on track with a strong finish in our No. 07 Z Grills Chevrolet Camaro.”

On New G-Coin Partnership: “This is a unique partnership, and I am excited to officially welcome G-Coin to NASCAR and our SS GreenLight Racing team. G-Coin is building an amazing ecosystem and we believe the NASCAR community will put G-Coin on the global map. Plus, we will strike gold in our No. 07 Chevrolet Camaro with some strong finishes on the track.”

On 2021 Season: “The last several races have been tough, but we will bounce back. It hasn’t been from a lack of speed, rather just bad luck. As a team, we know what we are capable of. We started off the year strong and we are determined to do everything in our power to get back to that consistency and look ahead with positivity.”
