Joe Graf Jr. and Team Solid at Talladega Superspeedway

Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway | Sparks 300

Team: No. 07 G-Coin Ford Mustang

Driver: Joe Graf Jr.

Start: 19th

Finish: 22nd; Running (113 | 113 laps completed)

Driver Points Position: 27th | Owner Points Position: 22nd

Joe Graf Jr. Quote: “I really appreciate my SS GreenLight Racing with Jeff Lefcourt team for bringing me a fast No. 07 G-Coin Ford Mustang.

“We had a strong qualifying effort and were just biding our time trying to stay out of trouble and then made our green flag pit stop during Stage 3 and the packs got disconnected.

“Usually, you see a late race caution and the field gets bunched up and then it’s game on. That never happened on Saturday and we were left battling for the best spot possible.

“Our 22nd place finish definitely wasn’t what we hoped for, but it could have been a lot worse and we’ll look for a solid run at the Charlotte ROVAL next weekend.”

Next Up: Drive for the Cure 250 at the Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway ROVAL on Sat., October 8, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. ET live on NBC | Performance Racing Network (MRN) and SiriusXM Satellite Radio NASCAR Channel 90.
