We are excited to discuss the potential of Westgate Resorts expanding its exposure to motorsports fans through a partnership with Joe Graf Jr. for the 2021and 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. Our goal through this partnership is to grow your brand awareness among a younger fanbase, increase your profits and expand the reach of Westgate Resorts through each race in the season by positioning vacation ownership as part of the fractional ownership trend that is so popular with Millenials. Our common goal is to sell timeshares to our passionate NASCAR fans.
As you may have noticed in your relationship with SMI, NASCAR is positioning itself as a younger and hipper version of what comes to mind when people think of auto racing. This isn’t your grandpa’s NASCAR. And fractional ownership – whether it is renting a vacation home through Airbnb, upcycling, taking a Lyft or purchasing a timeshare – isn’t your grandpa’s mindset. That’s how our younger fans think, though. And by partnering with a driver who isn’t your typical NASCAR driver, you’re aligning yourself with the hipper, younger, new face of NASCAR.
We have spent a lot of time creating an activation strategy that we want to share with you. This activation plan will explain in detail how a Westgate Resorts plan would work. This plan will create Westgate Resorts brand awareness in NASCAR and include specific marketing strategies to turn the NASCAR fans into Westgate Resorts vacation owners.
